Intended Audience
This activity was developed for VA physicians,
pharmacists, nurses and nurse practitioners who manage patients with significant vascular disease and who are at risk for thrombotic events.
This program will help ensure that the
Veterans Health Administration and other health care professionals remain up to date on the assertive management of
patients at risk of thrombotic events such a patients with history of ACS, MI and stroke.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be better able to: 
Assess and stratify thrombotic risks in patients with ACS, MI and stroke
Describe various treatment options available, the evidence for their use, and their controversies
Apply up-to-date clinical guidelines and data in the treatment of patients at  risk of a thrombotic event with confounding vascular disease

The Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at
Eisenhower is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical
education for physicians.
The Annenberg Center designates this educational
activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credittm.
