While significant progress continues to be
made in the treatment of certain cancers, others — like gastrointestinal stromal tumors and advanced renal cell
carcinoma — have remained more challenging to manage. Even so, new generations of multi-targeted therapies,
such as the latest tyrosine kinase inhibitors, are showing enormous promise, not only in treating RCC and GIST,
but in teaching oncologists important lessons about the care of other solid tumors, including cancers of the lung,
breast and colon.
A faculty of leading oncologists has developed
this important educational program to enhance your understanding of the latest state-of-the-art approaches to cancer
care. This activity will describe new developments and strategies that have promising implications for managing
many solid tumors, emphasizing the newest advances in treating RCC and GIST.
As interest increases in new options for
hard-to-treat cancers, this event will bring you up-to-date on the latest evidence-based developments in the
field. You'll have the opportunity to get your questions answered by the expert faculty, and earn up to 1 AMA PRA
