Intended Audience

This activity was developed for nurse practitioners, nurses, and others involved in the care of neonatal patients with Patent Ductus Arteriosis.
 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
Identify best practices for early diagnosis and identification of PDA
Verbalize optimal medical management of PDA regarding timing and
course of therapy; and monitoring treatment
Implement a team approach to the care of infants with PDA
 

Accreditation and Certification

Annenberg Center for Health Sciences is approved as a provider of nurse practitioner continuing education by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Provider # 040207. The Annenberg Center designates this program for 1.0 contact hours of continuing education (which includes TBD hours of pharmacology).

Annenberg Center for Health Sciences is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
A maximum of 1.0 contact hours may be earned for successful completion of this activity.

There is no charge for this activity. Statements of Credit will be mailed 4-6 weeks following activity participation, upon completion and return of the evaluation form to the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences.
